Testing...Testing 1,2,3

welp. here i am, friends.

i have gone back and forth for quite some time in regard to the age old question: "to blog, or not to blog..." i am not going to lie, i am still not sure if i made the right decision. while i am probably making too big deal about it, i want to share with you my exhausting thought process...

"oh, i feel left out when my friends talk about the blogs they read and write. it sounds fun."
-randi, you already waste too much time. you don't need another thing to add to your list of possible distractions. we are in the process of purchasing an undergraduate degree,
remember???

[after secretly caving and following my friends' blogs for a while...]

"maybe i want to try this too..."
-randi, what do you really have to blog about? what would you say?
"stuff."
-well, at least you'd say it eloquently...
-when would this blogging occur?
"whenever i want"
-is that true? (<--- insert little Clinton's voice here...i feel like he asks me this a lot..)
"no."
-do you think this might be one of your great ideas that ends up being forgotten after a week of hard-core pursuit?
"...probably..."
-so what decision do you think makes the most sense?
"...uh...to keep thinking about it?"
-........

but! then i came up with a clever solution!
i graduate in a mere TEN days. (holla.)

(vitamin c's graduation song?? "as we go on...we remember...all the times we..." no? ok...)

then, i have the whole summer to do what i want! (well, not really, but more freedom than when i am in school...okay, really just less guilt for not being productive).
i could create a blog and just plan on blogging for the summer! it's like a lifeguarding job, but less hazardous! (i burn very easily. i am also scared i will look like this in a few years...)

or better yet...

(remember celebrity doppleganger week on facebook?? welp, this delight was my computer generated match...it was a good week for me...even more disturbing is that people thought this is/was my grandma....just when i thought there was no resemblance...)
FOCUS!
i am really sorry (this seems to be a habit of mine..)

as i was saying...

i want blog about the things i always say i am going to do with my summer, but don't. (you should also know that i love to plan things. but i am a total failure about putting those plans into action...it's a habit i hope to kick. i'm buying the patch next time i run to the grocery...maybe the gum, too.)

i have yet to reveal the final list of all the things but here are some of my ideas...
-sky diving
-reading everything c.s. lewis ever wrote
-trying a new recipe every week (creme brulee! blueberry muffins from scratch, meatballs etc)
-sew a legit dress
-training for a half marathon
-learning how to use my camera
-decorating my new room (when i move in with jenna and holly!!! HOLLA!!)
-painting
-organizing all my music on itunes (not fun...but would create less confusion)

have i inspired you? are you dreaming yet of what you would do with your perfect summer?note: i am not trying to rub in the pure gift of a summer. lots of my friends have big girl jobs an i do not want to hurt their hearts or be a stumbling block. i just know i will need help completing my list. and ideas as to what should go on my list!

how am i doing as a blogger?
do you have ideas yet??
good. then holla at yo girl!
